Holly and Clay have been at home all this week without reinforcement and things have been going well. Brian was able to make it home for lunch after one long night of feedings and fussing to give Holly a break and a shower which was fabulous. We've had our "good" nights and our "bad" nights and haven't yet found the magical combination that makes up the "good" ones. With the good nights comes a little more sleep in at least one bigger chunk, usually 4 - 5 hours in a row if we are lucky. With the "bad" nights Holly ends up being out of bed the majority of the night and feeding a ton- wears her out pretty bad. Thank goodness for Brian who gets out of bed to change our little poop and pee machine when he wakes up fussing before passing him off to Holly - also known as the 24 hour dairy.
Clay has been getting alot more animated lately which is so much fun to watch. He makes all sorts of different faces and loves to watch the face of whoever is holding him at the moment. He is working on pushing with his legs for when he starts crawling and wow are his legs getting strong. Clay is also gaining much more control over his head and neck and is able to look from side to side so hopefully soon he won't be a bobble head doll anymore.
Here's a few fun pictures for this week's post including "The Many Faces of Clay"
