Always Something New

Our little man just seems to get bored with things easily. Now that we have the crawling thing down, he has decided that he is going to work on pulling himself up on things. One minute he's playing on the ground, turn your head for a second, and you find him standing up holding on to the couch.

It amazing how fast they learn and really teach themselves new things. Clay is now tormenting the cats since he can move. Conan just keeps his distance and stays up on top of things out of harms way. Chief on the other hand loves to play with Clay and is constantly rubbing up against him. He's been spit up on 3 times now, but still hasn't learned his lesson. Clay is also getting the hang of waving. It is more a violent arm movement than anything but he is using it appropriately for the most part. Its so cute!

We've just been hanging out and enjoying some time at home (trying to get well as Brian and I have both been a little sick lately - Brian mostly). Hope that you are enjoying some relaxation time as well.

7 Months Old, 6 Teeth

Hope that everyone had a good new year. We enjoyed just lounging around the house, watching movies, and spending time with Clay. Clay didn't make it to midnight but we surprisingly did. New Year's Day was filled with watching football and more relaxation.

On the 2nd, Clay turned 7 months. We're trying to be good about getting a picture of him each month on his birthday, and the fingers showing how many months old he is has become somewhat of a tradition.



Clay's mouth is currently under constant attack from new teeth. Outside of a few minor meltdowns he's actually be really good about it. Right now he has four teeth across the top of his mouth that are through and then the two in the middle of the bottom that he got first. You can at least see 4 of them in the picture below.
