Clay has been throwing out all types of sounds lately with some that sound extremely close to "hi" and "yes" and used at appropriate times. We even had a "daddy" one day but it has not been repeated. Luckily Brian was there to hear it as we both looked at each other in a "did you hear that?!?!" kind of way.
Clay has started opening cabinets and drawers which has resulted in a couple of smashed fingers. The days of watching him from the other side of the room are over and we have becoming Clay's shadows to help him make good choices about where to put his hands and what not to put in his mouth.
The weather here this weekend was unbelievably beautiful! We headed to Broad Ripple Park for a walk in our new backpack carrier that Brian and I found on super clearance over Christmas. Clay LOVED it! We had a great time watching the doggies at the bark park and walking the trail. Uncle Brad lives so close to the park that he was able to walk there to join us. It was a great day out in the sun.
Hope everyone is doing well, we miss and love you and here are some extra pictures that just never made it to the blog. (good timing- I hear Clay calling to get up from his nap - I must away!)
