We have another showing on the house today and we're hoping that the cats do not cause us anymore stress like they did yesterday (wouldn't go out in the garage, hiding from us, and then one was unable to be found when we got home later to the point that we spent 2 hours searching for him inside and outside just in case the people that saw the house opened the garage door) The people that saw the house yesterday said that it is between our house and one other in Westfield (where I teach) and they will be making a decision early next week. How wonderful would it be if our house sold after the first showing! Maybe the people today will love it too and they can get in a biding war :)
So before all the stress began... we made a trip up to Belvidere which was great. We got to see lots of friends and spend some time with family - always fun to be back home. While we were there Clay mastered the art of climbing up stairs (his first time he made it all the way to the top no problem) and worked on his musical talent, will it be tuba or french horn or piano? We'll have to wait and see - we just hope its not percussion!
Today is Daddy's Birthday!!! and we are so excited to spend the day relaxing and spoiling him rotten, hope you have a great day too! Have a wonderful Easter everyone!

Holly....ah yes, weaning. A mixed bag of emotions for sure. You may want to try dropping one feeding at a time (it sounds like maybe you went cold turkey??), starting with the mealtime feedings. You can always try sticking him in his high chair with a sippy cup with formula or milk to totally change the scene (after weaning, I couldn't even SIT with Bryce in the "nursing" chair). I always dropped one feeding every 3-4 days at the least. This will be better for you too, gives your body time to adjust. I tried to pick the "favorite" feeding (either first thing or last feeding) and left that as last and weaned that one as I saw fit. I really thought Bryce would fight me on it, but he did great. You just need to set a new routine. And hopefully a gradual withdrawl will help Clay adjust too. Just my two cents, and you didn't even ask for it. Hope you're well. The new house is beautiful! Love and hugs! Jaime
Love the videos; a little permanent reminder of what a great time we had while you were home. Hope things are better for you this week and will cross our fingers for a quick sale of the house. Love you all, Mom and Dad
Clay is getting so big! He can crawl faster up the stairs that i can. Too bad I couldn't see you all when you were home. Lyla needs to meet her boyfriend! Also the new house is gorgeous!
